Vadra's land deals in Bikaner: State administration sends report
Jaipur, April 3: The controversial member of Gandhi family is in news again.

According to The Rajasthan state administration, Robert Vadra, the son-in-law of UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi, had procured 633 hectare land in Bikaner under five companies, out of which he sold 284 hectare making huge financial profit.

BJP MLA Rohitash Singh and other party leaders in Rajasthan had alleged that Vadra had land deals in Jaisalmer and Jodhpur. The previous state revenue department had sought details of Vadra's land deals in Rajasthan. However, no such details were found.

The transactions were made during the previous Ashok Gehlot government

Last week, district collectors submitted a report which said no transactions were made under any of Vadra's companies apart from Bikaner, where he is found to have purchased 633 hectare at low prices.

The five companies named in the report are Sky Light Realty, North India IT Park, Blue Breeze Trading, Real Earth Estates and Sky Light Hospitality. The transactions were made during the previous Ashok Gehlot government.

Rajasthan Revenue Board chairman Chandra Mohan Meena said, "Reports from all district collectors have been submitted and we have forwarded it to the revenue department that had sought the information to respond to a question raised in the Assembly. The details of the reports are confidential and will be made available only on the floor of the House."
