Uttar Pradesh: Woman, Friends Burn Wild Cat Alive For Crossing Their Path, Make Video Of Act
A case has been registered against a woman and her friends for allegedly capturing and setting a wild cat on fire after it crossed their path in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.
They also filmed the act, reported India Today.

The incident occurred in the Bhojpur police station jurisdiction. SP Dehat Kunwar Akash Singh stated that Delhi's Wildlife Crime Control Bureau received an email complaint, along with a video, which led to official action.
"An FIR has been lodged in the case, and the video cannot be released at this stage as the investigation is ongoing," he said.
As per the FIR, the woman and her associates recorded a video while burning the wild cat. Authorities traced the motorbike seen in the footage to its registered owner, a woman named Priya from Bhojpur.
The accused have been charged under Sections 9, 39, and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act, 1972. If found guilty, they could face up to three years in prison and a fine of ₹1 lakh.
