30 killed in Rae Bareli train mishap
Rae Bareli, March 20 : At least 30 passengers were killed and 150 injured, when four bogies of Dehradun-Varanasi Janta Express derailed at Bachhrawan in Rae Bareli of Uttar Pradesh.
The sources reveal that two bodies have been totally damaged in the mishap.

UP: Dehradun-Varanasi Janta Express derails, 6 killed
According to the reports, the three coaches of Dehradun-Varanasi Express was derailed in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh on Friday morning.

Around six passengers were killed on the spot in the accident, leaving more than 30 injured. The failure of locomotive brakes of the train has been considered as one of the reason for the incident.
Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced a compensation of Rs 2 lakh for the family of each person, who were killed in the train mishap. The government will also provide Rs 50,000 to the injured persons.
