Uttar Pradesh assembly elections 2017: Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore backs BJP to win

Over 1.72 crore voters will exercise their franchise on Saturday to decide the fate of 635 candidates in the fray for the top seat.

New Delhi, March 4: Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore on Saturday said that BJP will retain to power in Uttar Pradesh. While speaking to ANI, Rathore said that other parties have been in Uttar Pradesh for far too long but haven not been able to bring any change. Last two phases of the UP elections are going to take BJP get two-third of the majority in the state.

He further said that the way Modi works for entire nation, every youth of UP sees that and wants that sort of commitment for them as well.

The sixth phase of the seven-phase polling in Uttar Pradesh assembly elections started across the 49 constituency seats in the state. Over 1.72 crore voters will exercise their franchise on Saturday to decide the fate of 635 candidates in the fray for the top seat. Of all the candidates contesting in the sixth phase of UP elections, 126 have criminal cases against them whereas 160 are millionaires.
