US-India Cyber Security Initiative Launched in Pune
The US Consulate and Mahratta Chamber of Commerce launched the US-India Cyber Security Initiative in Pune to strengthen IT connections, create jobs, and develop cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions.
The US Consulate, in collaboration with the Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (MCCIA), has launched the first-ever US-India Cyber Security Initiative in Pune. The initiative aims to strengthen IT connections between the two countries and bring together top cyber security experts globally to create jobs and develop cutting-edge solutions.

Fostering Collaboration and Innovation
US Consul General Mike Hankey, who was in Pune for the MCCIA Pune Business International Business Summit, highlighted the importance of a secure, resilient, and stable cyberspace for the development of both the public and private sectors. He emphasized the need to minimize cybersecurity threats and ensure that the digital revolution promotes global prosperity and stability.
Addressing the Challenges of the Digital Age
Consul General Hankey acknowledged the rapid advancements in digital technologies and the challenges they pose. He stressed the significance of collaboration between the United States and India in addressing cybersecurity issues and leveraging the benefits of artificial intelligence, advanced telecommunications, critical and emerging technologies, bioengineering, and energy.
