The incident took place last night when the airline's engineering staff found that three tyres of Boeing 777 aircraft AI-191 were deflated on landing at the airport here," they said.
According to the airline, the Ahmedabad-Mumbai-Newark flight was dispatched on schedule after replacing the tyre-burst hit aircraft.
The passengers were deplaned safely and another Boeing 777 plane was arranged to enable them to fly on their onward journey, they said.
