US and its obsession with UFOs as it shoots three in row

White House spokesman John Kirby reiterated that the US government has not been able to definitively assess what these UFOs are; however, acting cautiously, it decided to shoot them down.

The obsession of the Americans with 'unidentified flying objects' (UFOs) could be seen from Hollywood films and their leaders talking endlessly about the phenomenon. The last couple of weeks have been a witness that the nation is again at it as several UFOs have been spotted and a few of them have been shot down by the US government.

Defending their action to shoot down the UFOs, White House national security spokesman John Kirby promised that the US would keep shooting them as they are a threat to its air safety. Interestingly, the US government has not come forward with any evidence that these UFOs were there to gather intelligence or they were equipped with the tech for intelligence gathering.

Kirby reiterated that the US government has not been able to definitively assess what these UFOs are; however, acting cautiously it decided to shoot them down. Apart from protecting the airspace, the major goal, according to him, in shooting down the UFOs was flight safety. The increased number of UFO sightings has, however, become a new public obsession in a country that has been known for conspiracy theories of alien attacks.

Chinese balloons capturing American mind space

Earlier Russians, and even today to some extent, were the villains for Hollywood; however, the new obsession is China. Chinese balloons have further added to the popular psychology and given a reason to suspect Chinese design in UFOs now. When the US Air Force shot down a Chinese balloon off the coast of South Carolina, the nation got another reason to outrage.

Now, the Americans are trying to gather all the pieces and make them one to know what China up to was with the balloon. For now, crews have been able to recover significant debris and soon they will come with their discovery of the balloon and what it was capable of. After that balloon from China, several other UFOs have been spotted.

However, the US government has not disclosed about their nature or who is behind them. Starting with a giant white orb that was first detected over the US' skies two weeks ago to a couple of UFOs spotted last weekend, the debate on UFOs has escalated quite feverishly. Elon Musk's tweet on UFOs has further added to the conspiracy theories.
