UPSC NDA & CDS I 2025: Registration Deadline Extended; Check New Dates, Fee, Steps To Apply, And More
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced an extension of the registration deadline for the National Defence Academy (NDA) and Naval Academy (NA) Examination, as well as the Common Defence Services (CDS) Examination I 2025, as per the Hindustan Times (HT) report. Interested candidates can now apply until 6 PM on January 1 (Wednesday) via the official website at upsc.gov.in.
According to an official statement on the website, the extension is due to technical issues.

UPSC NDA & CDS I 2025: Key Dates For Applicants
- Registration Deadline: January 1, 6 PM.
- Correction Window: Opens on 1 January and closes on January 7.
During the correction window, candidates can make changes to their registration profiles by logging into the platform. It is important to note that modifications cannot be made via the application form window.
UPSC NDA & CDS I 2025: Steps To Apply
Candidates can complete the application process by following these steps:
1. Visit the UPSC application portal at upsconline.gov.in.
2. Select the link for NDA & NA I 2025 or CDS I 2025 on the homepage.
3. Enter the required registration details and submit them.
4. Log in to the account and fill out the application form.
5. Pay the application fee using the available payment methods.
6. Submit the form, download the confirmation page, and keep a printed copy for future use.
UPSC NDA & CDS I 2025: Application Fee Details
- NDA & NA I Examination: Rs 100 for most candidates.
- Exemptions: SC/ST candidates, female candidates, and wards of JCOs/NCOs/Ors.
- CDS I Examination: Rs 200 for most candidates.
Fees can be paid in the following ways:
- Cash deposit at any State Bank of India branch.
- Online payment through Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card, UPI, or internet banking.
