Hitting out at Congress, Modi said that Lal Bahadur Shastri's slogan was 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.' "But the Congress party's latest slogan is 'Mar Jawan, Mar Kisan. Congress party does not look after the poor and the farmers. When SC says distribute the grains to the poor, they refuse to do so and sell the rotten grains to companies that make alcohol," he said.

Modi slammed the Congress manifesto, saying that it had released a 'dhoka patra,' and not a ghoshna patra. He urged voters to vote for the BJP. "I will repay your love in the form of development," he said.
