The teacher, Jitendra Rai, reportedly used abusive language and physically assaulted the student, Shlok Gupta, for wearing a cap to school. When Shlok's father, Anil Kumar Gupta, filed a complaint with the school principal, the teacher allegedly retaliated by beating the student again and even banging his head against a wall.
In response to the complaint, an FIR was filed against Rai, based on the allegations made by Shlok's father. Prashant Kumar Chaudhary, the in-charge of Chitbaragaon police station, confirmed the registration of the case and assured that appropriate legal actions would be taken.
