UP shocker: Teenage girl born without uterus, kidney, self-immolates

Bareilly, Dec 8: In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old girl, set herself ablaze on Friday, Dec 4, when she got to know that she was born without a uterus and a kidney.

The sad and shocking incident was reported from Subhash Nagar area of Bareilly district in Uttar Pradesh, when the teenager discovered the horrific truth of her life, via an Ultrasound test.

Unable to bear the trauma, the shattered girl took the extreme step of ending her life.

After coming to know her medical report, her parents did their best in providing her emotional support and took her to other doctors, but she had lost all hope by then.

The girl doused herself with kerosene and set herself afire, when her father had gone to cast his vote in the recently held gram pradhan elections.

Her mother, along-with the help of neighbours, rushed the badly burnt girl to a nearby hospital, where she was declared brought dead. Her body was sent for the post-mortem.
