UP Shocker: Handicapped girl raped by neighbour in Mathura

Mathura (UP), Oct 18: A 15-year-old handicapped girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour in Hasanpur village falling under Naujhil police station here, police said on Oct 17.

The incident took place yesterday when the girl was alone at home. She was lured by her 26-year-old neighbour Onkar, who took her to his room and allegedly raped her, they said.

The girl narrated the incident to her mother after which an FIR was filed this evening.

"The accused, booked under sections 376 (rape) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act), has been arrested. The girl is being medically examined," Deputy Superintendent of Police Janak Singh said.

The accused man is married and the victim's father is an Army personnel, police added.
