UP: 'Samajwadi' tag to be dropped from govt schemes, says Siddharthnath Singh

There are at least 18 schemes that begin with the Samajwadi tag.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Siddharth Nath Singh on Friday while addressing to media said that 'Samajwadi' word to be dropped from Uttar Pradesh government schemes and from now onwards 'Mukhyamantri yojna' to be used.

Ever since Yogi Adityanath began ruling the biggest state of India, the threat began to loom over the name of the schemes and the projects announced by the previous Akhilesh Yadav -led Samajwadi Party government.

Here are the list of UP schemes that may lose 'Samajwadi' tag by Samajwadi Smartphone Yojana, Samajwadi Party Namak Vitran Yojana, Samajwadi Awas Yojana, Samajwadi Pension scheme, Samajwadi Shravan Yatra and Samajwadi Yuva Swarozgar Yojana among many others.
