UP Police Constable 2024: Check Cutoff Marks, Steps To Find Result And Next Steps For Candidates
The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the results and cutoff for the UP Police Constable Exam 2024. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official website at uppbpb.gov.in.
The UPPRPB aims to fill a total of 60,244 constable positions across the state. The written exam, held on August 23, 24, 25, 30, and 31, took place in 1,174 centres across 67 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Over 48 lakh candidates participated, including more than six lakh from other states, making this one of the largest recruitment drives in India.

As the exam was conducted in 10 shifts, the marks obtained were normalised to ensure fairness. Candidates are being called for document verification and physical standard tests based on the merit of their normalised marks. Approximately 2.5 times the number of advertised posts in each category, totalling 1,74,316 candidates, have been selected for this next step.
For the General category, the overall cutoff is 214.04644, while for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), it is 187.31758. The cutoff for Other Backward Classes (OBC) is 198.99599, Scheduled Castes (SC) is 178.04955, and Scheduled Tribes (ST) is 146.73835.
For female candidates, the cutoff for the General category is 203.90879, for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) it is 180.23366, for Other Backward Classes (OBC) it is 189.39259, for Scheduled Castes (SC) it is 169.13167, and for Scheduled Tribes (ST) it is 136.02707.
Steps To Check UP Police Constable Result 2024
Candidates can follow these simple steps to check their scorecards:
1. Visit the official UPPRPB website: uppbpb.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, look for the 'UP Police Constable Result 2024' notification and click on it.
3. Enter your login details, such as registration number and date of birth.
4. Submit the credentials to view your scorecard.
UP Police Constable Exam: Next Step
Candidates who qualify in the written examination will proceed to the Physical Endurance Test (PET). The PET will assess physical fitness and endurance, which are essential for the role of a police constable.
