UP, a living hell! Mother beaten up for justice in daughter's rape

Etawah, May 30:After the heinous crime of kidnapping and

of cousin sisters in Badaun district, here's another incident in Etawah where the mother of a rape survivor was beaten up brutally for lodging an FIR against the rapists.

Interestingly, the accused was arrested and is lodged in jail, but his father-Basant Yadav-along with a few goons attacked the woman when she refused to take back the case. The woman is in a critical condition and has been rendered speechless. She is in intensive care unit in Etawah.

The accused, who lives in the neighbourhood had entered the woman's house and raped the girl. The woman's attackers are yet to be caught. Ironically, this happened in the home district of the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh-Akhilesh Yadav.
