Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced on Sunday that Uttar Pradesh received investment proposals worth a staggering Rs 40 lakh crore during the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit held in 2023. This influx of investment is expected to generate employment opportunities for 1.10 crore (11 million) youths in the state, providing a significant boost to the local economy and empowering the younger generation.

Speaking at an employment fair organized by the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Chief Minister Adityanath emphasized the crucial role of technical institutions, such as Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and polytechnics, in shaping the future of the youth. For instance, youths selected for employment in Israel will receive free meals, accommodation, and an attractive monthly salary of Rs 1.5 lakh after completing their ITI courses.

Demand for Skilled Professionals in Germany and Beyond

Highlighting the global demand for skilled professionals, Chief Minister Adityanath drew attention to the high demand for skilled nursing professionals in Germany. He encouraged youths to undertake language training to enhance their employability in this sector. Additionally, he mentioned the significant demand for skilled youths from Uttar Pradesh in Southeast Asian countries and the Middle East, opening up a world of opportunities for the state's talented workforce.
