UP CM Yogi Adityanath begins day feeding cows

“Cows are also required in religious rituals of the Hindus. Cowsheds will be promoted in all the districts. The central government is also promoting cowsheds in UP and other states,” said Yogi.

Gorakhpur, April 30: Starting his day with rituals practice, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday fed the cows and calves in the cattle shed of his parliamentary constituency Gorakhpur.

It is believed that the chief minister had been practicing the ritual of feeding the cows. According to him, the cow recognises Yogi and some of the animals were also named close to him.

According to reports, many cows will be shifted to 5-Kalidas Marg residence in Lucknow so that he can practice the rituals every day.

The monk-turned politician has been following the practice for several years during which he has developed a bond of affection towards them.

It is to mention that soon after taking charge in the state, Yogi had directed the officials to shut down the illegal slaughter houses across the state. He had also ordered a complete ban on smuggling of cows and zero tolerance would be exercised for the same.

He had said to the media, that the Central government is promoting cowsheds in UP and other states as well.
