UP board announces class 10, 12 results; girls outshine boys yet again
Allahabad, May 17: The Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh, Allahabad has on Sunday declared results of Class 10 and Class 12 for the academic year 2014-15.
Declaring the results, the UP Board has announced the fate of millions of students who worked day and night to obtain good marks in the examinations. [To check results: Click here]

As the trend has been for the past many years, girls have once again outclassed boys in terms of registering higher passing percentage in the examination.
83.74% students passed class 10 examinations, while around 88.83 per cent students were successful in class 12.
88.71 per cent of girls passed in class 10 while 80.12 per cent boys remained successful.
In class 12, 92.16 per cent girls passed while boys 85.91 per cent boys were passed.
Sarvesh Verma of GSS Inter College, Basti topped the exams in Class 10 with 96.83% marks.
While, Lucknow Public School's Jyoti Rathore secured first position in the merit list for class 12 .
