UP Board 10th Toppers 2025: 15-year old Yash Pratap Singh has emerged as the topper in the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) class 10 exams in 2025.

This year, Yash Pratap Singh, a student of Late Smt. Raskendri Devi Inter College in Umari (Jalaun), has secured the top position in the state with an exceptional score of 587 out of 600 marks (97.83%). Close behind, Anshi and Abhishek Kumar Yadav jointly secured the second rank with 586 marks each, while Ritu Garg, Arpit Verma, and Simran Gupta shared the third position with 585 marks each.

A total of 25,56,992 students appeared for the UP Board Class 10 examinations this year, out of which 90.11% successfully cleared the exams. The results also revealed a notable gender gap in performance, with girls outperforming boys by a significant margin.

Boys' Pass Percentage: 86.66% (11,49,984 boys passed)

The UP Board Class 10 exams were conducted from February 24 to March 12, 2025, across 8,140 examination centers in Uttar Pradesh. The evaluation process, which involved meticulous checking of answer sheets, took place from March 16 to April 2 at 261 designated centers.

Total Examiners: 84,122 teachers were engaged in the evaluation process.

Deputy Head Examiners: 8,437 senior teachers supervised the marking.

Answer Sheets Checked: A staggering 1.63 crore answer sheets were assessed to compile the final results.

The exams were held in two shifts daily-morning (8:30 AM to 11:45 AM) and evening (2:00 PM to 5:15 PM)-to accommodate the large number of candidates.
