UP: 18-year-old girl allegedly burnt to death, motive not clear yet
In a shocking incident, an 18-year-old girl was allegedly burnt to death on Thursday night in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao. It is not yet clear if she committed suicide or was murdered, said reports.
The incident took place between 7 and 8 pm when she was returning home from the market after buying vegetables.

A witness has said that the girl was seen in flames around 8 pm, adding that he couldn't do much to save the girl. While by bicycle and the vegetables were found lying close to her body, a plastic container, partially filled with petrol, and a matchbox were also found, said an HT report.
The girl's family have alleged that she was set ablaze by unidentified people. The body has been sent for postmortem, while police are investigating the matter.
The HT report quoted Lucknow ADG, Rajeev Krishna, as saying that incident looked like a case of murder.
According to ANI, Lucknow I.G. Sujit Pandey and Unnao SP Pushpanjali Devi also reached the spot to take stock of the situation.
