UP: 16-year-old boy in presence of his sister rapes neighbour; family later thrashes girl

In yet another shocking incident, a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped and then beaten by her neighbour 16-year-old juvenile in Uttr Pradesh's Kanpur district. The victim is said to be in a critical condition.

It is learnt that the acused committed this henious crime in presence of his sister. Later, the juvenile and his parents beat up the victim leaving her seriously injured.

The incident happened on Sunday, when the accused reportedly attacked the girl and sexually assaulted her at a cattle shed in front of his sister.

Meanwhile, the Uttar Pradesh police arrested the accused and also his family members. The police are also searching for other suspects involved in the attack. He has been charged under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act on Monday and sent to a juvenile home.

The victim is currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
