Unity In Diversity! Muslims Help Hindu Devotees During Kumbh Stampede, Allow Shelter In Mosques, Give Food

Internet is full of distressing videos of Mahakumbh Stampede these days showing multiple angles of the incident Unmanaged millions of devotees can be forced to live without shelter and food, and if we say that the transportation system to the holy city has collapsed, then it won't be wrong. People are stuck in Prayagraj and not getting trains, busses or flights to return to their hometowns.

Many people lost their lives in stampede, and those who survived, lost their belongings and valuables. Many people don't even have enough money to buy food, water, and shelter, which are being sold at a high cost.

Meanwhile, a video showing locals extending their hand for help has emerged as a fresh breath.

Setting an example of unity, communal harmony, and brotherhood, Muslims opened the doors of Mosques in Prayagraj to help pilgrims. They are offering shelter and free food and water. Earlier, Sikhs in the city also did the same. The video is gaining a lot of traction on the internet and social media users are praising the effort to strong goodwill amoung people of various religions.

Mahakumbh Stampede Tragedy:

In the saddening incident, on the intervening night of January 28 and 29, a sudden stampede occurred when the pilgrims rushed to take a holy dip near ghat and many people fell on the ground.

The people who were sleeping and sitting on the ground near the rivers ghats were trampled and crushed by the huge and uncontrolled crowd, resulting in deaths of 30 people and many injured, as per the data shared by city police.
