Minister Accuses IAS Officer of Casteist Language in Madhya Pradesh

Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste accuses senior IAS officer Anay Dwivedi of using casteist language against his relative, but the relative disputes the claim.

Union Minister of State for Rural Development Faggan Singh Kulaste has accused senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Anay Dwivedi of publicly insulting his relative by using casteist language. However, the relative, Ashok Dhurve, has contradicted the minister's claims, stating that Dwivedi did not use any casteist language or comments against him in any official meeting.

Minister and IAS Officer in Casteist Language Controversy

Kulaste's Complaint

Kulaste, a tribal community leader from Madhya Pradesh, has filed a complaint with Chief Minister Mohan Yadav against Dwivedi, alleging that the IAS officer used casteist language to harass Dhurve, who works for the Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company, a state-run power distribution firm.

Dwivedi's Response

Dwivedi, the managing director of the Poorva Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company, has not yet responded to the allegations. However, Dhurve has come forward to refute the minister's claims, stating that Dwivedi did not use any casteist words or comments against him in any official meeting.

Dhurve's Explanation

Dhurve acknowledges that it is natural for a higher official to get angry if mistakes are made or if performance is not up to par. He admits that such a situation occurred during the meeting in question, but he denies that Dwivedi used casteist language.

Distorted Remarks

Dhurve further claims that his remarks about the meeting have been misrepresented. He asserts that his words have been taken out of context and presented in a distorted manner.

The allegations made by Minister Kulaste against IAS officer Dwivedi have sparked controversy and raised concerns about the use of casteist language in official settings. The Madhya Pradesh government is expected to investigate the matter and take appropriate action based on the findings.
