UNGA President Dennis Francis Meets Rajasthan Governor, CM; Lauds Indias Culture
United Nations General Assembly President Dennis Francis visited Jaipur and met with Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. He praised Indias unique culture, emphasis on human values, and strong democratic traditions.
United Nations General Assembly President Dennis Francis visited Jaipur on Tuesday, where he met with Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma. The UN delegation led by Francis was welcomed at Raj Bhavan, where Mishra presented Francis with a flower bouquet in the traditional "Padharo Mhare Desh" style.

Francis Praises India's Unique Culture
During his visit, Francis praised India's unique culture and its emphasis on human values, respect, and love. He also commended India's healthy democratic traditions and the way in which representatives are elected from the common people to lead the country and state through elections, setting an example for the world.
Visit to Jaipur's Historical Sites
Francis took the opportunity to visit Jaipur's iconic landmarks, including the Amber Palace and City Palace, where he was impressed by the state's rich cultural heritage.
Learning about the Jaipur Foot
The UN official also visited Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (BMVSS) to learn about the manufacturing process of the Jaipur Foot, a low-cost prosthetic device that has restored hope and dignity to countless individuals. Francis was particularly impressed by the advanced technologies used and the organization's reach in remote regions of India.

During his visit, Francis was accompanied by India's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ruchira Kamboj.
Francis' visit to Jaipur highlighted India's cultural richness, democratic values, and technological advancements, leaving a lasting impression on the UN General Assembly President.
