Unattended Bag Found At Delhi's Connaught Place; Bomb Squad Reaches Spot

According to the reports, an unattended bag was found on Saturday afternoon at Delhi's Connaught Place, which created panic among the people. Reportedly, the bag was found at CP's N block area. Reacting to the information, the Delhi Police swiftly reached the spot, seized the area and called the bomb squad.

Fire tenders and ambulances were also on standby, and police immediately evacuated the area. The reports said police and bomb squad are scanning the area and unattended bag.

Thankfully, nothing suspicious was found inside the unattended bag. News agency ANI quoted a Delhi Police official stating "The unattended bag at N Block of Connaught Place was checked and nothing suspicious was found inside it".

Earlier this week, bomb threats were received by more than 46 schools of Delhi and NCR, after which, panic among parents and teachers surfaced. However, the Delhi police later found that they were hoax calls and nothing suspicious was found during the checking of schools.
