UGC NET June 2025: Registration Deadline Extended To May 12, NTA Releases Updated Schedule

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for registration for the UGC NET June 2025 examination. Candidates who have not yet completed the application process now have time until May 12, 11:59 PM to submit their forms.

This extension comes in response to several requests from aspirants seeking additional time. The official notice from NTA confirms, "The National Testing Agency (NTA) is in receipt of various representations from the candidates to extend the last date for submission of online application form for UGC - NET June 2025."

In addition to the registration deadline, the NTA has also extended the last date for payment of the examination fee. Candidates can now pay the fee by May 13, 11:59 PM, through various online modes including credit card, debit card, net banking, and UPI. The earlier deadline for fee submission was May 8.

Once the application window closes, the NTA will offer a correction facility. Candidates will be able to edit their submitted application details through an online correction window available at ugcnet.nta.ac.in. This facility will be accessible until May 14.
