The University Grants Commission (UGC) has tasked the National Testing Agency (NTA) with administering the UGC-NET. This examination assesses the eligibility of Indian nationals for: (i) receiving the Junior Research Fellowship and being appointed as an Assistant Professor, (ii) being appointed as an Assistant Professor and gaining admission to a Ph.D. program, and (iii) gaining admission to a Ph.D. program only, in universities and colleges across India.

• Enter your registration number, date of birth, and security code in the required fields.
• Submit the information and wait for the processing to complete.
• Once the admit card is generated on the screen, download it.
• Print at least two copies to bring with you to the examination.
