UGC NET December 2025 Admit Card: The National Testing Agency has released the admit cards for candidates appearing in the UGC NET December 2025 examination scheduled for January 2, 2026.

Aspirants can download their hall tickets from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, by logging in with their application number and date of birth. Candidates are advised to go through all instructions mentioned on the admit card carefully before the examination day.

UGC NET December 2025 exam schedule and mode

According to the public notice issued on December 29, 2025, the UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted in Computer Based Test mode for 85 subjects. The exam will take place at centres across the country on multiple dates, including December 31, 2025, and January 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, 2026.

The examination is being organised by the National Testing Agency, which is responsible for conducting the test on behalf of the University Grants Commission.

City intimation slip and upcoming admit cards

The University Grants Commission has stated that candidates were already informed about their examination city and date through the city intimation slip released earlier. Admit cards for candidates appearing on the remaining examination dates will be issued separately in due course.

Exam pattern and duration

The UGC NET December 2025 examination will be held in a single session with a total duration of three hours. The test will consist of two papers. Paper I will assess teaching and research aptitude and will have 50 questions. Paper II will be subject specific and will include 100 questions.

Once the admit card is downloaded, candidates will be able to check key details such as the exact examination centre, roll number and reporting time mentioned on it.
