Delhi rape: Uber cab driver sent to 14-day judicial custody
New Delhi, Dec 11: A court here on Thursday sent cab driver Shiv Kumar Yadav accused of raping a 25-year-old woman on the night of December 5 to 14 days judicial custody.
Metropolitan magistrate Ravindra Kumar Pandey sent Yadav, produced in court after the end of his three-day police custody, to judicial custody till Dec 24 after police told court that he is not required for further custodial interrogration.

Yadav, 32, was arrested on Sunday evening from Mathura in Uttar Pradesh and was sent by a court to three days' police custody on Monday.
Earlier, officials interrogating Yadav termed him as a "master of lies" and a "highly deceptive" person.
The 32-year-old driver has emerged as a serial sexual offender and was out on bail in a rape case in 2013, besides being involved in a similar case in 2011.
"He hides most of the things and confesses only about things he knows that we already are aware of. He is a master of lies and highly deceptive. When we ask him about his previous involvements, he tries to give alibis and claims that he has not been convicted in any of them," said a senior police official.
