Two trains collide in Gorakhpur; 2 dead, many injured

, Oct 1: Three died, more than 10 injured after two trains collided near Cantonment station in Nandanagar, Gorakhpur.

Reportedly, Krushak express had a side collison with Lucknow-Barauni express. A helpline has been started, said Arunendra Kumar,Railway Board, to ANI.

Gorkahpur is in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, 270 km from the capital of Lucknow. The injured have been moved to a local hospital, said officials.

"The casualty figure is not yet final," said the Chairman of the Railways Board to news agency ANI.
