Two-time Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra married his partner, Himani, in an intimate ceremony.
The javelin star posted pictures from the wedding on social media on Sunday, January 19.
"Started a new chapter of life with my family," Neeraj shared in his post.
"Grateful for every blessing that brought us to this moment together. Bound by love, happily ever after," he added.
Neeraj had kept the wedding details private, so the first photos from his special day took fans by surprise. He shared a touching image of his mother blessing him during the ceremony.
As soon as the news of Neeraj's marriage became public, wishes began pouring in, with Olympic medal-winning boxer Vijender Singh and actor Gajraj Rao among the first to congratulate the former Olympic champion.
This wedding follows Neeraj's victory in winning a silver medal at the Paris Olympics, just months after claiming India's first individual Olympic gold in track and field at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
