Two MoS to be made cabinet ministers in Mufti govt

Jammu, Apr 23: Two Minister of State in Mufti Mohmmad Sayeed government will be elevated to the rank of Cabinet ministers tomorrow.

The oath function would take place at Rajbhawan at 1200 hours tomorrow in which Governor N N Vohra will administer oath to MoS Transport (Independent charge) Abdul Gani Kohli and MoS Cooperative (Independent charge) Chering Dorji as Cabinet Ministers, an official statement said.

With this, total number of cabinet ministers in the PDP-BJP government will go up to 17, including Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was sworn in as the chief minister for the second time after the two month long wait and suspense for a coalition government between the PDP and BJP.

Both the parties have now agreed on a Common Minimum Programme for the state.
