Two infants die at Malda govt hospital

Malda (WB), Dec 17: Two infants died in the state-run Malda Medical College and Hospital here, an official said today.

Both the infants - one two-day-old and the other 28-days-old - were low birth weight babies, Medical Superintendent cum Vice Principal, A Dawn, told reporters here.

The newborns did not respond to treatment before their death yesterday, he said.
