Thalaivar 170: After 32 Years, Are Amitabh Bachchan And Rajinikanth About To Create On-Screen Magic Again?
Rajinikanth's latest film, "Jailer," has created a blockbuster impact at the box office. Within just 8 days of its release, the movie has amassed over Rs 400 crore in global earnings. Following a spiritual journey to the Himalayas, Rajinikanth has returned and discussions are already underway for his upcoming project, according to TOI report.
His next endeavor, tentatively titled "Thalaivar170," will cast him once again as a police officer. The film is set to be directed by TJ Gnanavel, known for his previous work with Suriya in "Jai Bhim."

Principal photography for the film is slated to commence in September. After delivering mesmerizing music for "Jailer," Anirudh Ravichander has also been chosen to compose for this film.
Excitingly, rumors suggest that Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor, has been signed on by the production team for a pivotal role in the movie. Insider sources have informed ETimes that Amitabh Bachchan will portray the antagonist, setting the stage for a riveting clash between the iconic Thalaiva and Amitabh Bachchan's character. If this collaboration comes to fruition, it will mark a momentous reunion of these two superstars after a hiatus of 32 years. Their previous collaboration was in Mukul S Anand's "Hum."
Amitabh Bachchan appears to be reuniting with his old friends one after another. His recent collaboration with Kamal Haasan in the upcoming film "Kalki 2898 AD" has been followed by this exciting partnership with Rajinikanth.
