Two held for IPL betting
Nabarangpur (Odisha), Apr 29: With the arrest of two persons, police today claimed to have busted an IPL match betting racket at Umerkote in Nabarangpur District.
After getting information, a police squad raided a house in Raighar Road in the town last night and seized Rs.18.8 lakh cash, five mobile phones, a laptop and a TV, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Gopinath Manipatro said.
Police arrested Rameez Hingora and G Srinivas Rao from the house who were allegedly running IPL match betting racket.
