When Twitterati snubbed Cong leader for terming IM 'sectarian', not a terror outfit

New Delhi, April 9: Congress which is already on back-foot after series of recent electoral defeats has got yet another problem in the making.

Despite India and US recognised the IM as a terrorist organization, Congress leader said that IM men are not the terrorists.

For making such offensive statement, Khurshid Ahmed Saiyed is facing the wrath of Twitterati. Here are some of tweets where people have snubbed him.

When Home Minister Shinde paid respects to Hafiz Saheed
Jamaat-ud-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed may be the key conspirator of the Mumbai terror attacks, but
Sushilkumar Shinde who was Home Minister in the UPA regime had given him full respect. While referring to Saeed, Home Minister used honorifics like 'Mr' and 'Shri' in 2012.
Shinde, during the course of a statement on the visit of Pakistan's interior minister Rehman Malik, addressed Saeed as 'Mr' and 'Shri' twice each.

"Mr Rehman Malik, interior minister of Pakistan has been telling us repeatedly that he had arrested Mr Hafiz Saeed thrice and that on each occasion, he was let off by the courts for lack of evidence," Shinde said in an identical statement in both Houses of Parliament.
