Twitteratti reacts to Pravin Togadia's reported anti-Muslim remark

New Delhi, April 22:Praveen Togadia, president of the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) allegedly said on Saturday that Muslims shouldn't be allowed to buy property in Hindu areas.

According to this report, Togadia, along with VHP and Bajranj Dal members, staged a protest outside a house owned by a Muslim businessman in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Togadia gave the resident 48 hours to move out of the house, which if not complied with, he suggested taking control of the house and putting a Bajranj Dal board on it.

The report has created furore across the country. However, BJP and Togadia himself has said that the statement was fabricated and also sent notice to newspapers for the report. [Read here]
