Twitter introduces improved tools, makes reporting abuse, blocking easier
London, Dec 3: In an attempt to check increasing number of online abuses, Twitter is bringing certain changes to its process for reporting abuse. These changes will allow the users to report about offensive content more easily.
The social media platform has come with these changes after several high-profile instances of threats and abuses reported around the world.

As per media reports, Twitter will introduce changes which will include reporting abuse in fewer steps, letting people who are not directly involved in the abuse flag it more easily, giving users a page where they can view and edit those whom they have previously blocked, and preventing blocked users from viewing the profiles of the people who blocked them.
Reports say that these changes will come to effect soon.
Earlier, reporting abuse was a difficult task on Twitter. It required filling a nine-part questionnaire and the social media platform was also criticised for this.
Moreover, the Micro-blogging site has given its users more control of their photos.
The Twitter app for iOS and Android devives has replaced its photo filter grid with an easier to use Instagram-style row of adjustable filters. Double tapping the filters shows an intensity slider that shows thumbnails of how photos will look like.
