TTV Dinakaran arrested for attempting to bribe ECI over AIADMK symbol row
Dinakaran's aide Mallikarjuna was also arrested by the sleuths who already have alleged middleman Sukesh Chandrashekhar in their custody till April 28.
The Delhi crime branch arrested Sasikala Natarajan's nephew TTV Dinakaran in the Election commission bribery case on Wednesday. Dinakaran was arrested after four days of questioning.
Dinakaran's aide Mallikarjuna was also arrested by the sleuths who already have alleged middleman Sukesh Chandrashekhar in their custody till April 28. The Delhi police on Tuesday had told the Tis Hazari court that Dinakaran would be arrested soon. Within hours of submitting call details of Dinakaran and Sukesh, the police arrested him.
Dinakaran is accused of conspiring with Sukesh and attempting to bribe officials of the Election Commission of India to get a favourable verdict in the AIADMK symbol row. Officials had questioned many in the case, including Jayalalithaa's advocate Kumar.
