TTD To Build Replica of Sri Venkateswara Temple At Maha Kumbh Mela In Prayagraj

As part of its efforts to propagate Hindu Sanatana Dharma, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is constructing a replica of the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The event, scheduled to take place from January 13 to February 26, will see the replica temple built on a 2.89-acre site at Sector 6, Bhajrang Das Road, near the renowned Naga Vasuki Temple.

Dharma Ratham to Begin Journey from Tirumala

TTD Executive Officer J. Syamala Rao announced that a Dharma Ratham carrying staff and devotees will set off with divine blessings from Tirumala on January 8 at 7 a.m. The Ratham will play a pivotal role in promoting awareness about the temple and Hindu dharma during the Maha Kumbh Mela.

Daily Rituals and Festivities

The replica temple will replicate the grandeur of Tirumala, with all rituals and festivities conducted in the traditional Tirumala style. Daily sevas, starting from Suprabhatam to Ekanta Seva, will be performed for devotees. TTD will also organize special Srivari Kalyanams on January 18, January 26, February 3, and February 12, providing northern devotees with an opportunity to experience the spiritual essence of Tirumala.

Team of Priests and Scholars

To manage the temple activities and cater to the needs of the vast number of visiting devotees, TTD is deploying a team of priests, Vedic scholars, and staff from various departments. Their efforts will ensure that devotees enjoy a seamless and spiritually enriching experience.

Promoting Hindu Dharma

Speaking to the media at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala, the EO emphasized that the initiative aims to bring the divine presence of Lord Venkateswara closer to devotees in the northern parts of India, reinforcing the importance of Hindu Sanatana Dharma on a grand stage like the Maha Kumbh Mela.

With this replica temple and the accompanying religious activities, TTD continues its mission of fostering spiritual connections and promoting dharma among devotees nationwide.
