Truly special journey: PM Modi ahead of 100th Mann Ki Baat episode
Ahead of the historic 100th 'Mann Ki Baat episode', Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that his monthly radio show has been a truly special journey for him.

"Do tune in at 11 AM for Mann Ki Baat. This has been a truly special journey, in which we have celebrated the collective spirit of the people of India and highlighted inspiring life journeys," PM Modi wrote on Twitter.
Over 100 crore people have listened to PM Modi's monthly radio programme Mann Ki Baat at least once, while 23 crore people tune in to the show regularly, a study by IIM-Rohtak has revealed.
According to the survey, the Prime Minister has been credited by the population of the country as knowledgeable and having a sympathetic and empathetic approach.
According to the survey, a majority of listeners have become aware of governments working and 73 per cent are optimistic and feel the country is going to progress. 58 per cent of listeners have responded saying their living conditions have improved while a similar number (59 per cent) have reported increased trust in Government.
Mann Ki Baat, a popular outreach programme by PM Modi debuted on October 3, 2014, and has become AIR's regular broadcast on the last Sunday of every month. 'Mann Ki Baat' will celebrate its 100th edition this coming Sunday.
Mann Ki Baat is translated by AIR into 22 Indian languages, 29 dialects, and 11 Foreign languages, apart from English.
It includes Hindi, Sanskrit, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Odiya, Konkani, Nepali, Kashmiri, Dogri, Manipuri, Maithili, Bengali, Assamese, Bodo, Santhali, Urdu, Sindhi.
The Dialects include Chhattisgarhi, Gondi, Halbi, Sargujia, Pahari, Sheena, Gojri, Balti, Ladakhi, Karbi, Khasi, Jaintia, Garo, Nagamese, Hmar, Paite, Thadou, Kabui, Mao, Tangkhul, Nyishi, Adi, Monpa, Ao, Angami, Kokborok, Mizo, Lepcha, Sikkimese (Bhutia).
