Truck rams into bus on Pune-Mumbai highway, both vehicles charred

, March 27: A truck rammed into a travel coach at around 3 on Thursday morning on Pune-

expressway.

The bus was headed to Bangalore from Mumbai. It was parked by the road for repairs when the accident happened and luckily, about 30 passengers in the bus had got out for some fresh air.

The truck, which was in high speed, carrying metal utensils and sheets, rammed into the bus from behind, said the bus passengers who witnessed the accident.

Both vehicles caught fire instantly and have been charred to an unrecognizable state, said police.

As the truck got charred completely, it has become difficult to determine how many persons were in the truck or the number on the license plate.
