Truck Overturns During Road Inspection In Maharashtra, Narrow Escape for Engineer and Locals | Viral Video
Panic gripped Khadki village in Vadwani taluka of Beed, Maharashtra, after a truck overturned at an ongoing road repair site. The dramatic incident was caught on camera and the video has created a buzz on the internet, raising fresh concerns about rural infrastructure.
According to the reports, the mishap occurred when a team of civil engineers and about a dozen others was surveying the damaged road following complaints from local residents about its poor condition and the lack of a viable alternative route during bridge construction.

As the inspection progressed, a truck approaching the site lost balance on the uneven surface and flipped over just metres away from the group. In a desperate bid to escape, some individuals leapt into a pit excavated for bridge work.
Fortunately, no one got injured in the accident.
Engineer and his entire team had arrived in Beed, Maharashtra to inspect the road.

It was learned that locals reported about the poor quality of road earlier also, and have been demanding a temporary detour route.
Officials on site have now promised remedial action - assurances that now appear insufficient in light of the incident.
Authorities are also expected to re-evaluate safety protocols and the project's execution timeline. Meanwhile, residents continue to urge swift action before a near-miss turns into a tragedy.
