Trouble for Salman, Shah Rukh? Bollywood's 'Karan-Arjun' face flak for Bigg Boss promo

New Delhi, Dec 21: The Bigg Boss promo showing Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan has sparked controversy as the actors are seen entering a Kali temple with their shoes on in it.

The promo drew flak from Akhil Bharatiya Hindu Mahasabha which has demanded removal of that particular scene from the episode.

According to a TOI report, the leaders of the organisation have also written a feedback to Colors channel and a reply is awaited.

"I am shocked to see that a scene with Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan inside a Kali temple with their shoes on is being broadcast on TV for such a long time but no one has taken any action against it.

Now if we say anything, we will be termed intolerant. But our religious sentiments have been hurt and before the final episode is broadcast on Sunday, the scene should be completely removed," Bharat Rajput, district president, Hindu Mahasabha was quoted as saying in the daily.

According to the report, the organisation has also written to the Colors channel saying that "shoes are not worn in other religious places like mosques, gurudwaras. This is insensitive of all of you to have aired such content on your channel just for TRPs."
