Tripura elections 2018: BJP - IPFT share seats in TTAADC

Assam Minister Himant Biswa Sarma on Wednesday released joint BJP Tripura and Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT) statement ahead of Tripura assembly elections to expose the hollowness of CPI(M) which has ruined the social and cultural edifice of the state.

As per the joint statement, the tribal of the Tripura state have been at the receiving end of cunning policies of the communist regime. The 'real proletariates' of Tripura are the tribal population who were never on the development radar of the state.

The alliance has been formulated for all 2O seats reserved for Schedule Tribes, BJP has nominated its candidates for 11 seats and IPFT has nominated its candidates for 9 seats based on ground realities with an aim to ensure a complete rout of CPI (M) from all of these 20 seats in Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council. In other seats Tripura where IPFT has influence, they will fully support the candidates of the BJP.
