Trio booked for kidnapping married woman

Etah (UP), Dec 20: A case was registered against three persons, on the court's directions, for allegedly kidnapping a married woman at pistol point from Chirgavain village here in August.

Three persons, including one Pramod of Chirgavain village, were booked yesterday for kidnapping Radha in August this year, Station officer, Jalesar, Dinesh Kumar Dubey said.

The FIR comes in the wake of an application filed by the victim's husband Gagan Singh in a local court. The complainant had to move court after the police refused to file an FIR in the case.

According to Singh, his wife was kidnapped by a trio at pistol point when she had gone to the fields to fetch grass several months ago. No arrests have been made so far in the case, Dubey added.
