Treasure hunt enters fourth day, SC refuses to interfere

Unnao (UP)/New Delhi, Oct 21: As the treasure hunt on the basis of a seer's dream entered the fourth day, the Supreme Court today refused to interfere in the excavation by archaeologists in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district.

Ending speculation that the excavation by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) for 1,000 tonnes of gold supposed to be buried under the ruins of a 19th century fort is being halted, the district administration resumed the digging work.
