TRB Lecturer Exam on September 15, check last date for application

Earlier on June 16, TRB had issued the notification no. 04/2017 for Lecturer recruitment.

The TRB Lecturer Exam will be held on September 16th. Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board had earlier said that the exam would be held on August 13.

TRB will hold the Lecturer exam for filling around 1,058 vacancies. The recruitment is being conducted for the Direct Recruitment of Lecturers (engineering and non-engineering) in government polytechnic colleges, categorized under TN Educational Service. 30% posts will be reserved for Women as per the prevalent Government Rules. If the women reserved seats linger vacantly, those vacancies will be given to the male candidates belonging to same communal categories.

Earlier on June 16, TRB had issued the notification no. 04/2017 for Lecturer recruitment, which was quashed by the High Court of Madras on July 5. The High Court ordered the TRB to start application process afresh as it did not fulfil All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) norms.
