ISI agent had contested the Nepal polls

Huda was arrested last month by the Nepal police after his name cropped up in a train sabotage case. It was alleged that he had directed three persons from Bihar to plant a pressure cooker bomb on a railway track at Ghorasahan in Bihar. The bomb did not explode as alert villagers had sighted the same.

Huda who hails from Nepal had initially suffered huge losses in the real estate business. He moved to Dubai three years back. However, he returned to Nepal and contested the elections which he lost.

Investigators have learnt that he had covered his losses by pumping in fake currency into India. He is believed to have made nearly Rs 60 lakh in quick time. The National Investigation Agency which has taken up this case was expected to visit Nepal and probe Huda, but the visit has been delayed. NIA officials say that they are still probing the three arrested persons in Bihar. "We are analysing the messages that Huda had sent these persons."

According to the Nepal police, Huda had initially hired Deepak and Arun to plant the explosives. He had even asked them on a messaging service to send newspaper clippings about the incident. However, after they failed to do so, he hired Brij Kishore to kill them.
