Tractor Carrying Pilgrims To Haridwar Falls Into Pond, 15 Dead
At least 15 people, including children, have been killed in Uttar Pradesh after the tractor they were travelling fell into a pond, NDTV reported citing the police.
The people were on the way to Haridwar. The incident occurred in Uttar Pradesh's Kasganj. The injured are being treated at a local hospital.

Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath has expressed his anguish over the loss of lives in the tragic incident and announced an ex-gratia compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to each of the injured.
"The loss of lives in a road accident in Kasganj district is extremely heart-wrenching. My condolences are with the bereaved family. District administration officials have been instructed to provide proper free treatment to all the injured. It is a prayer to Lord Shri Ram to grant peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to the injured," he said on Twitter.
